Casa Pueblo is a non-profit, community project that is committed to the appreciation and protection of natural, cultural and human resources in Puerto Rico. Casa Pueblo was founded in 1980 in the mountain town of Adjuntas, when concerned citizens united to block a proposed gold mining operation in the area. Since Hurricane María, Casa Pueblo has focused largely on renewable energy projects and initiatives involving solar power. Learn more at casapueblo.org/
