José E. Fernandez is the former President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oriental Bank. Fernández is also a Trustee Emeritus of the University of Notre Dame. He is the Founder and President of the Kinesis Foundation, established in 2004, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Puerto Ricans students of all backgrounds to achieve a higher education.
